Hijacking MEIO Terminology
One major issue holding back inventory optimization and multi echelon adoption, is the fact that many vendors have hijacked the terms and applied them to software that just does normal supply planning and inventory management. Strangely, there is not more written on how many vendors have deliberately muddied the waters on these topics. This is described in the video below.
