Custom Supply Chain Software Research
SCM Focus Research
We are a research driven company. However, the research we do is unique in the our area. There are several reasons for this:
- Many companies that offer subject matter expertise in enterprise software are extremely biased. Much of the information written on enterprise software on the internet, or private written material is actually promotional. We have none of these problems with independence.
- We test enterprise software, and extensively document the results. That is a big difference. While many analysts will write about software, or discuss a vendor’s vision, we have our hands in the software and not only determine if something can be done in an application, but how complex it is to do, how well it is designed, etc..
- We take a historical perspective. If an enterprise software company claims a particular roadmap, or a new capability, rather than jumping on the bandwagon, we validate future selling versus their historical track record. This is very effective at predicting the future outcome, much more predictive than simply relying upon vendor claims. This has enabled us to forecast at a high accuracy level not only vendor claims, but also on trends such as demand sensing. Our track record is apparent throughout the SCM Focus site.

This approach or type of package was created to maximize your economic investment in hiring us. Our approach is completely different from most other research and consulting firms you have worked with. We treat the research as just that, and not an attempt to sell you other services. Furthermore, we have the largest research database on SAP and non-SAP supply chain topics, at least that we know of. If you have questions and need independent research performed, contact us to see what we can do for you.
