How would you design a consulting company if you were looking for the highest value add for clients. While there are differing views, we think a few consistent rules apply:

Deep Subject Matter Expertise Combined with Critical Thinking

This takes a long time to develop and is what clients want. We have developed the largest database of educational and analytical material on supply chain planning software on the internet, but we go beyond simply understanding a topic to being able to differentiate valid concepts from marketing hyperbole to what is actually feasible. This is unlike many consultants and consulting companies which focus on maximizing the number of consultants they have under their umbrella, we focus on knowledge development. For this reason we do no project management, no sales force and don’t see ourselves as running a staffing organization as most consulting companies do.

Independence

Without independence, subject matter expertise will not lead to the best advice provided because when bias and external influence exists, subject matter expertise cannot be applied. For this reason we are independent from all vendors and all consulting companies.
